- DIP is now AMP (alveolar macrophage pneumonia) because it's not actually desquamated pneumocytes, it's alveolar macrophages
- HP is no longer a "pattern" but an "entity" much like UIP vs IPF.
- There is a new pattern called BIP (bronchiolocentric interstitial pneumonia) which is really just what an HP pattern used to be. There are fibrotic and nonfibrotic types just like the previous fibrotic and nonfibrotic HP.
