DR Gets Behind
- Provider or tech can call DR after 90 minutes to inform them the study is a priority.
- Provider can call overnight radiology after 120 minutes to request a read.
- Techs should not call overnight radiologist to clean up the list if DR is behind.
- Please tag studies read in this situation with the code "DR0" for tracking purposes.
Unread Studies in the Morning
When reading overnight exams on HOS or C3, some exams may not yet have preliminary reports. Call DR ((855)687-7237) and ask them which studies have not been picked up by one of their rads yet. They will tell you the last study read. Ask them to disregard the studies that no one has worked on yet and read those first.
